Overarching Employment
When you are employed via an umbrella company you will sign an overarching contract of employment. Essentially, this means that you become a permanent employee of the umbrella company – this is an ideal benefit for contractors who take on multiple short term contracts as it provides continuity of employment during and between different contracts.
It also ensures you have the same rights as any other permanent employee by having access to employee statutory benefits such as sick pay, statutory parental pay, pension and holiday pay!

PAYE and NIC’s
As an employee of NASA you will pay PAYE tax and Employees NIC on eligible taxable income. They are calculated at source for accurate payments.
We also submit payroll via RTI (Real Time Information). Under this operation, information about your PAY tax and other deductions under the PAYE system, is transmitted to HMRC by every time you are paid.
